Bostich + Fussible will be appearing at the Coachella Festival in Early April. They are also playing Vive Latino in D.F., Mexico on the 14th March
Fussible and Bostich have been nominated for a GRAMMY in the “Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album” category. This comes as a fitting end of year recognition, following a year of epic touring across the Americas and Europe as well as wide critical acclaim. Following their performance at Treasure Island Music Festival in September, SF Weekly said that, “The highlight was Nortec Collective: Bostich + Fussible... the best dance music of all time. It's sexy, suave and has real instruments.” Check out Fussible's EPs 'Odyssea' and 'No One Over 21' out through Sonic360. Fussible at Sonic360

Since Jorge sadly left Fussible & The Nortec Collective earlier this year, Pepe has been surprisingly busier than ever before: Touring around the States with International Playboy Zen on the LA LECHE summer tour, sponsored by those Latino-loving beer giants Heineken. And now hopping across the Pond with fellow Nortec boy Hiperboreal & Gigolo Records beat-freak Tampopo to do a few shows in Paris at Favela Chic, Batofar, and Fete de la Musique, at the Instiuto de Mexico. They will also spend around 24 hours in London on the 27th, where they have been booked to play at Barrio's last ever party at CARGO, and then afterwards Pepe will spin a few tunes on his two i-Pods (!!) at Sonic360's 3rd birthday party held at Hat on Wall, Clerkenwell, london. Ciao for now

IT WAS A CRACKING NIGHT
Muchos Gracias & Besitos to:
All the 400 or so funky gorgeous people who turned up, Koggi, Ramiro, and the wonderful Los Fancy Free from Noiselab in Mexico City, Pepe y Jorge from Fussible who played an amazing set despite the jet lag creeping in... (they'd literally jumped off a plane from Mexico 3 hours before!), Nick Luscombe for all his good vibes, Rory & Mits from Pea Green Boat (despite all that happened, with Rory's laptop getting nicked towards the end of the night by some good-for-nothing scum, your live show was incredible!!!), all the guys from the Most Wanted Crew - McQueen, The Deckshufflers and Dave, and of course Julian and Fernando from Ciudad Feliz. Thanks to SLICE for making the Party such a huge success, and the Southern Comfort boys for making a continuous line of the most fantastic cocktails for FREE!!! Cheers and besitos to Danny at Manga Entertainment for his interesting and cool screenings.... and THANKS to Rich Wallett for taking pictures all night (click on the link below to see one of his fantastic shots), and for doing all the graphics for Big Soup.

It was finally admitted today, after months of wild speculation, that a video for Fussible's Odyssea does in fact exist. This will quash the rumors which have been circulating for months, for example that it was going to be filmed on the moon using only dyed ferrets.
Produced by queen of Nortec design, Angeles Moreno, it is a stunning, orange, Tijuana taxi featuring, visual feast of cutting edge design and animation.
Until next time
